WHAT IS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF CARBON SEARCH AND RESCUE?
Our purpose is to aid in the locating and extrication of lost persons in and around the Carbon County area. We are a ground search and rescue team that responds to call-outs in the wilderness or in an urban setting.
DO I NEED ANY ITEMS/EDUCATION TO JOIN?
While you do not need to have any gear or education in order to join you will be required to obtain the gear on our packing list that will be provided to you at the first meeting you attend. We also have a list of classes you will be required to take but don't worry you will have six months to get your gear and complete the classes.
I’D LIKE TO VOLUNTEER - WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
To volunteer, please fill out an application and email a copy of it to our email address. Once that is completed we will work with you in order to get you involved with our team.
